✅ Dr. Ruby Annette is a Generative AI Principal Architect & Machine Learning Research Engineer with experience in software industry, academic R&D and startup consulting. She is an inventor with granted patent in the field of Machine Learning for Optimized Multimedia files Processing in Cloud Render Farms that includes images, text, audio, video files. She has several years of experience in leading open-source project, IEEE Funded Project and Academic R&D project teams to deliver innovative solutions using AI.
✅Her areas of expertise is in applying Machine Learning, Natural Learning Processing (NLP) for Optimized Multimedia Files Processing in Cloud Environment using the Big Data generated in the Cloud Server farms and applying her Subject Matter Expertise in Computer Operating Systems and Cloud Computing for AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations).
✅She has experience in applying machine learning and cutting edge deep learning models to optimize the processing of all types of media files like 3D animation video files, Music files, Text (NLP) & image files in Cloud.
✅ She has a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Information Technology from the B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, India.
✅ She has authored more than 17 research articles and a part of her Ph.D work on the title “Multi Criteria Recommendation Engine For Cloud Render Farm Services” with a granted patent and a published second patent.
✅ Her Scientific Contributions have been featured in various leading international and national newspaper and magazines like the Times of India, Outlook, Hindustan, Dainik Bhaskar, IEEE Spectrum to name a few.
✅ As a lead research coordinator, she has also led two teams in the open-source project “Sound of AI” for music generation. Her expertise is in fine tuning the NLP and Deep Learning models to high accuracy for real time deployment.
✅ Dr.Ruby Annette also emphasizes and advocates “AI for social good”. To ensure that AI is used for social good she focuses her contributions on three aspects a) Funding the right AI projects for social good b) Mentoring the IEEE EPICS funded students projects to overcome technical bottlenecks and complete the funded projects successfully and c) Developing industry wide acceptable ethical standards for AI”.
✅She volunteers her time for these three causes by mentoring and contributing her technical expertise to IEEE EPICS AI students projects that are focused on empowering the physically and visually challenged people to be completed successfully.
✅ She is also actively involved in being on the panel of judges of the research projects grant committee of a few NGOs like the NTD Innovation Prize & Editorial board member, reviewer of various international journals and conferences.
✅She is very actively involved as member of International Professional Societies such as IEEE, IEEE Standards Association, IETE, ACM, Women in AI, Women in Cyber Security & was recently she was recognized by Google as "Women Techmakers Ambassador", who are impactful community leaders in the field of Tech.
✅ She was elevated as a Senior Member of IEEE and holds various elected leadership positions in IEEE Standards Association that develops IEEE standards for the industries.
✅ She holds office in IEEE SA as the the Chair of the P2301- Guide for Cloud Portability and Interoperability Profiles (CPIP) working group and the Chair of the Principles sub group of the IEEE P3400 Inclusive Language working group.
✅She is also a recognized speaker by the IEEE Virtual Speaker by Virtual Bureau Speaker Program and also a member of Speakerhub. She has delivered Faculty development programs and several webinars in both academia and industrial settings.
